SECTION 1: Statement of Commitment
- Ladybird s.r.l., as the owner of the WeUni platform (www.weuni.com), is committed to making its website accessible to all users, including persons with disabilities, in compliance with:
- EU Directive 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act – EAA), implemented in Italy by Legislative Decree No. 82 of May 27, 2022;

- Digital accessibility is a fundamental value for WeUni. We are committed to ensuring that every user, regardless of their physical, sensory, or cognitive abilities, can navigate, interact, and enjoy the content and services offered by the platform independently and satisfactorily. This commitment translates into a continuous process of verification, improvement, and updating of the technical solutions adopted.
SECTION 2: Compliance Status
- As of the date of this document, based on an internal audit, the website www.weuni.com is partially compliant with the WCAG 2.1 – Level AA guidelines.
- The assessments carried out have confirmed the following strengths:
- Automated scanning with a 100% score: scanning using the Google Lighthouse tool returned a result of full compliance (100%) on all analyzed pages of the website;
- Accessible contact forms and interaction: the forms present on the website are fully accessible, with clear labels correctly associated with their respective input fields, and error messages appropriately linked to the relevant elements;
- Well-organized semantic structure: the semantic structure of the website (headings, landmarks, lists, tables) is generally correct and well-organized across all areas of the site, without any severe anomalies.
SECTION 3: Non-accessible content: known limitations and intervention plan
- In compliance with the principle of transparency, it is noted that the audit has identified some areas for improvement, which the development team is already addressing to achieve full compliance.
- Keyboard navigation
- The website is comprehensively navigable by keyboard (without the use of a mouse), allowing fluid access to the platform's content and main functionalities.
- Status: continuous monitoring. In order to preserve and constantly improve this level of usability, the development team conducts periodic checks aimed at promptly identifying and resolving any new anomalies following future site updates.
- Screen reader compatibility
- Tests conducted with the Silktide simulator, which reproduces the experience of a blind user navigating the site via a screen reader, highlighted the presence of some potentially "noisy" or redundant labels, which may cause confusion in the voice reading of the page.
- Status: optimization in progress. The affected labels are under review to ensure smooth and redundancy-free assisted navigation.
- Third-party content (webinars)
- The site hosts a section dedicated to webinars, the video contents of which are delivered through external platforms. Such contents are not currently under the full technical control of WeUni and may not fully meet accessibility requirements, with particular reference to the synchronized subtitling of videos.
- Status: a dialogue is underway with the providers of the video content hosting platforms, in order to verify and obtain compliance with the accessibility requirements set by the WCAG 2.1 AA (in particular: synchronized subtitles, audio descriptions where necessary, accessible video controls).
- Further optimizations
- Although no severe anomalies were found in the semantic structure of the site, the development team has committed to further optimizing the HTML code to facilitate assisted navigation and improve the overall experience of users relying on assistive technologies.
SECTION 4: Feedback mechanism and contacts
- WeUni invites all users to report any navigation difficulties, accessibility barriers, or suggestions for improvement of the site.
- Reports can be sent to the e-mail address: accessibility@weuni.com.
- Every report will be taken in charge and evaluated by the technical team. We are committed to providing a response within 30 (thirty) working days from the receipt of the communication.
- If the provided response is not satisfactory, the user may contact the competent authorities for digital accessibility in their Member State, pursuant to Art. 9 of EU Directive 2019/882.
SECTION 5: Assessment methodology
- This statement is based on the results of an internal audit. The assessment included:
- automated scanning of all website pages using Google Lighthouse;
- keyboard navigation testing;
- simulation of screen reader navigation via the Silktide tool;
- manual verification of the accessibility of forms and error messages;
- analysis of the site's HTML semantic structure.
SECTION 6: Updating the statement
- This statement will be updated periodically, and in any case upon any significant modification to the site or new accessibility audits, in order to accurately reflect the compliance status of the website.
